The wire rod mill of voestalpine in Leoben-Donawitz, Upper Styria, is the world’s most advanced mill of its kind, producing approximately 550,000 metric tons of wire rod annually.
The three-story office building was expanded with an annex from 2013 to 2014 to create additional office space. The annex includes a training room, a supervisor changing room on the ground floor, an open-plan office on the first floor, and additional offices, as well as a multifunctional meeting room on the second floor. The structure is made of steel beams and columns, as well as reinforced concrete slab elements.
